The women’s specialty program is out patient program designed to address needs of parenting women suffering from chemical dependency. This program offers individualized treatment including group and individual therapy, linkages to the community, and education on the consequences of using alcohol or other drugs for parenting women. The level of participation is tailored to meet the needs of the consumer. Daycare and transportation are offered to promote program participation. There are three phases that women in this program must complete to graduate; the program focuses on relapse prevention, communication, decision-making skills and parenting.

Program Hours: M-F 9-5; group is held from 11-1:30 on Mondays
Application Procedure: A referral from Health Services Access is required for persons who are uninsured. For self-pay clients no referral is necessary. Appointments are required.
Eligibility Requirements: This program is available to parenting women suffering from chemical dependency in Washtenaw County who are 18 years old and up.
Fees and Payment Information: No fees or payments.
