Board of Directors

Board Officers:

President: Marc Meyer, Realtor,

Vice-Chair: Beth Glover Reed, Ph.D, Women's Studies Lecturer, University of Michigan

Secretary: Pam Gesund, Student

Pamela Gesund is an alumna of Home of New Vision and currently a full-time student at Washtenaw Community College. She plans to transfer to Eastern Michigan University to pursue a degree in Social Work. After twenty-five years of battling with the disease of addiction, Pamela entered the Home of New Vision Transitional Housing program, where she obtained the education and tools necessary to live a life of recovery. She has a passion for and is committed to helping others who struggle with addiction. On a lighter note, Pam says she has taken lessons for practically every instrument in the world but can’t play one of them.

Board Members:

Leah Bradley: Nurse, Child Heath Associates

Trisha Hunt: UPS

Dan Hunter: Attorney at Law, Hunter and Sievert

Jude Walton: Photographer

Jude Walton was one of the founding partners of Zingerman's Mail Order and worked with the organization for 15 years. She now focuses her time on freelance photography and food safety training. Born and raised in London, England, she permanently relocated to the US in 1993, after graduating from Cambridge University with a masters in English Literature - she has read the complete works of Shakespeare (twice!) and also proved the near uselessness of a literature degree outside of the academic world. The many years of work with the Zingerman's organization inspired Jude to get more involved in the community. Through personal losses of loved ones, the recovering community is her current focus, and she is a proud member of the Board of Directors for Home of New Vision. One lesser known fact about Jude is that she is a direct line relative of Sir Isaac Newton. The family still questions where the money and intelligence disappeared along the family line.
