Office is located on the SOUTH side of Packard, 1st Drive after the Shopping center.

How do I arrange to come into Transitional Services?


Call Home of New Vision's Intake Coordinator at 734.913.9023 or 734.417.7121. She will conduct a brief telephone screening and arrange an admission time.

How long will I stay?


Transitional housing is a six-twelve month program, but the average length of stay is 14 months.

How do I pay for services in Transition?


Clients in transitional housing invest in their own programming, by way of program fees. Once they begin working, clients begin to pay program fees of $125.00 weekly. Sometimes, other funding is available to help with initial costs ($350.00 entry fee) associated with admission. Home of New Vision will work with you to make financial arrangements. Please note however, that the entry fee is non-refundable, regardless of how long clients stay.

What is included in program fees?


Housing, food, case-management services, some family activities, some transportation, other comprehensive structured programming and if no other funding is available, outpatient treatment services.

What can I bring with me?


Clothing (enough for about 3 months) footwear and outerwear. Personal hygiene products, including hair dryers and curling irons and make-up. Journals and recovery books like the Big Book and 12 Steps book if you have them. Please do not bring TV’s, radios, CD players, earphones, CD’s, DVD’s, novels or excessive amounts of clothing.

What if I am interested in Outpatient Services only? How do I get admitted and pay for those services?


Home of New Vision’s outpatient services include traditional outpatient, Women’s Specialty Services and Dual Diagnosis Services. Funding is available for most people. Please call us and we will help you thorough the process of obtaining funding and starting treatment.

I need a substance abuse evaluation only. Can I get one from Home of New Vision?


Yes, Home of New Vision has an Assessment and Referral Program. We conduct over 200 evaluations per year for such issues as: Drivers License re-instatement, Child Custody, School issues and Court requirements. Appointments are usually available with in one week. Please call to set up an appointment.
